# PayPal Mass Payments

To get started with Mass reward payments, you first need to [create a free PayPal Business account](https://www.paypal.com/business/open-business-account). Once your account is created, you may need to request access to Mass Payments:

1. Log into PayPal and click Pay & Get Paid at the top of the page.
2. Under "Make Payments," click Payouts.
3. Answer the questions and click submit.

Once your rewards are due, you can generate a csv file specifically formatted for PayPal Mass Payments. To pay out your participants:

1. Go to the Rewards Due tab and click Download Paypal.
2. In your PayPal account, click Pay & Get Paid, navigate to mass payments, and upload the csv file.
3. Click Send Payout
4. Back in Referral Rocket, select the participants who you paid, click on Issue Reward and then "Mark as Issued" button. Since the reward are issued outside of our platform, you need to mark the participants as reward issued.&#x20;
